<%@LANGUAGE="JAVASCRIPT" CODEPAGE="1252"%> Antarctic System Science

This website is a "virtual tour" of my experiences as a participant of the Michigan State University Study Abroad Course "Studies in Antarctic System Science." It was designed to highlight what we learned about the organisms of the region and the environment they live in while highlighting our many destinations during our experience. The course focuses on system science, therefore, this website attempts to draw linkages between the interactions of the components of the Earth System. For more information about the course refer to the course webpage.
One of the driving forces behind this project comes from this quote.... “In the end, we will conserve only what we love; we will love only what we understand; and we will understand only what we are taught." Baba Dioum, Senegal*
